Calling all HR managers and anyone involved in organising a corporate retreat, away day, team building event or simply gathering executives and colleagues from around the country or the world in one central location.
We’re really good at creating the ideal corporate retreat accommodation, catering and activities. You let us know who will be attending and whether you’d prefer to rent our individual one, two, three or four bedroomed cottages or get everyone together in our super spacious 11-bedroom cottage.
We provide all the equipment you need to create your own meals and many of our corporate retreat guests tell us that cooking together is great for team building. Alternatively, for larger groups, we can serve delicious formal meals in The Refectory or deliver mouth-watering meals ready to serve yourself.

Blue chip organisations including Centrica, Mars Foods and Bupa return to Upper Rectory Farm Cottages time and again to enjoy all of the facilities required for a successful off-site meeting in a conveniently central location and comfortable, non-corporate setting.
Our corporate retreat facilities include

- 18 beds in 11 separate bedrooms and three sitting rooms
- Additional cottages to accommodate up to 26 delegates in total
- En-suite bedrooms so everyone has privacy when they need it
- Large conference/dining room with seating for up to 26
- Smaller meeting room with seating for up to 12
- Comfortable sitting rooms ideal for break-out sessions
- Excellent buffet lunches delivered by our caterers.
- Formal meals for groups of 16 or more served in The Refectory

Our gorgeous cottages are equipped with everything you’ll need for a family self catering weekend break in Leicestershire or mid-week team building with your colleagues.
Each cottage has:

- Deep, comfy sofas
- Masses of tourist information
- Jean’s fabulous flapjacks
Each kitchen has:
- Solid oak units
- Electric Cooker and Microwave
- Fridge and Freezer
- Comprehensive cooking equipment
- Crockery and glassware
Each en-suite has:
- Shower or bath with overhead shower
- Shaver point
- Big white fluffy towels
Everyone gets a warm welcome at Upper Rectory Farm Cottages so if you have any special requirements, please let the ever-accommodating Jean know. We have a disabled shower room complete with wheel-in shower, low-level toilet and washbasin, accessible to guests from all the cottages. Please ask if you’d like a copy of our access statement.
All electricity, heating, linen and towels are included in your tariff but if you’re bringing baby, please bring your own cot linen too. We can provide one additional z-bed and bedding in the sitting room of each cottage for a small charge. We can even loan you an iPod dock if you’ve forgotten yours
