Need Therapy? Our holistic therapist, Jill Parsons, will visit your cottage and sooth that stress and tension away.
Need some exercise? A walk along our 2 miles of traffic-free private roads, in the lovely Leicestershire countryside, should blow the cobwebs out. Or perhaps a stroll or bike ride along the 22 mile Ashby Canal nearby. You could cycle to the steam railway at Shackerstone Station, Moira Furnace or even over to Market Bosworth where you could stop for lunch or pick up some local cheese at the Peppercorn Cottage Delicatessen
Need to play? We are ideally placed for the attractions of Leicestershire and Warwickshire: there are over 60 different activities within a 30 minute drive - from clay pigeon shooting to country houses, from zoos to battlefields to vintage steam railway's even skiing on real snow in the middle of summer! No matter whether you're young or old, there's something to suit everyone.
Need to eat? Take a trip to one of our local farm shops or pop 10 minutes down the road to Tesco or Sainsbury's. Our well equipped kitchens will ensure you can prepare whatever you fancy.Alternatively try one of the many local pubs or restaurants.
Too lazy to cook? Our award-winning caterer, Sally Gold, will deliver mouth-watering meals for you to serve yourself (parties over 16). If you're feeling really lazy, or it's a special occasion, she'll closet herself in The Refectory kitchen from where she and her team will serve you to the highest standards.
Need to shop? Birmingham with its newly re-designed city centre, Bullring and Mailbox are within half an hour's drive. If you don't fancy that why not drop in to Nottingham, rated fifth best shopping location in the UK.
Every cottage has a file with all the information you'll need to enjoy yourselves, but if in doubt, Jean and David are always on hand to offer you advice.
